According to the UNCTAD World Investment Report 2023, the UAE attracted $22.73 billion in FDI in 2022, representing a 10% increase from the previous year. It ranks 16th globally in FDI inflows.

Greenfield Projects

The UAE ranks fourth globally in the number of greenfield FDI projects, behind only the US, UK, and India, announcing 997 projects in 2022 (an 84% year-on-year increase).
