Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)

The UAE ranked 16th globally in FDI inflows in 2022, securing $22.73 billion, an increase of 10% from the previous year. This was largely driven by changes to the Commercial Companies Law allowing 100% foreign ownership of mainland companies, and the introduction of long-term residency visas.
